Plastic Encapsulated Stainless Steel Hex Head Terminal Screws for the Telecommunications Industry

A customer in the telecommunications industry contracted The Fastron Co. to fabricate the custom, self-threading hex head terminal screws as highlighted below, featuring a molded plastic encapsulated head. Utilizing our expert cold heading and thread rolling processes, specialized grade 302HQ stainless steel was employed to create the screw, while the washer was composed of brass material. Meeting tolerances of ±.001", the screw was manufactured to an overall length of 0.630" and a diameter of 0.290". An advanced molding process was integrated to envelop the head of the screw with a plastic head. All manufactured units were finished with a thorough cleaning, and properly prepared for shipment. Full dimensional and visual inspections were applied in process and post-production to ensure accuracy and integrity.
All production took place on site at our ISO 9001:2008 certified facility, upholding rigorous performance and quality standards.
